We endeavor to work together in partnership, across all corners of education, to celebrate successes and to bring education and resources to enact needed change.
Our Vision
We come together to interrogate the role that race, racism, whiteness, white supremacy, and privilege play in our schools. Our vision entails working together to move conversations about existing oppressions into action-oriented change. As such, our work is focused on justice-oriented change in our schools and in society.
Who: We welcome all people who want to work toward more equitable schooling. We invite people who have privilege, in particular, to play a role in working to affect change.
What: We want to inform and influence our education systems, and in particular public education.
When: Working toward equity and dismantling the injustices and racism in schools and society is constant. Our ongoing education and action are imperative.
How: We want to foster collective action by building and providing access to resources. We seek to share action items in order to accomplish goals that enact systemic change.
